Leopard 2 A7V – Tamiya 1:35

This 1/35 scale model faithfully captures the German main battle tank Leopard 2 A7V, an upgraded version of the Leopard 2 A7. Introduced in 2017, the A7V features additional front hull armor for enhanced protection and reinforced suspension to handle the increased weight. It retains the L/55 120mm gun from the A6 variant, capable of engaging enemy armored vehicles at distances of up to five kilometers with modern ammunition.

Other key updates in the A7V include an improved vision system for low-visibility conditions, redesigned tracks, and a new rear turret basket. The first tanks upgraded to this specification were delivered in 2021.
